Number of plague cases in Madagascar has doubled!

20 October 2017 – The number of cases of plague in Madagascar has doubled during the past 5 days, according to the UN. As of this Wednesday 1,032 cases have been reported. The most worrisome aspect, and likely the reason behind the epidemic is that 67% are pneumonic, transmitted from person to person.
